Edgewood College is committed to helping each student and family through the financial aid process and we strive to make our high quality education affordable. Last year over 98% of entering first-year students received grants or scholarships from Edgewood College. With merit-based scholarships available for excellence in academics, leadership and fine arts and numerous awards available for families with need, we are often able to provide a financial aid package that is competitive with nearly every institution that a student is considering.
Scholarships
Students admitted to Edgewood College are automatically considered for merit-based scholarships based on a combination of cumulative GPA and ACT score. No additional application is required to receive these scholarships. Continuous, full-time enrollment is required to retain these renewable scholarships.
Presidential Scholarship - This is Edgewood College’s most prestigious academic scholarship. The average GPA for recipients is a 3.75 with an average ACT score of 27. The Presidential Scholarship is worth $34,000 over four years ($8,500 per year).
Dominican Scholarship – The average GPA for recipients is a 3.4 with an average ACT score of 23. The Dominican Scholarship is worth $26,000 over four years ($6,500 per year).
Founders Scholarship – The Founders Scholarship is worth $18,000 over four years ($4,500 per year).
Heritage Scholarship – The average GPA for recipients is a 3.0 with an average ACT score of 20. The Heritage Scholarship is worth $10,000 over four years ($2,500 per year).
Voyager Scholarship – This academic scholarship is for qualified students who receive the Presidential or Dominican Scholarship and live outside the state of Wisconsin. This scholarship is worth an additional $8,000 ($2,000 per year).
